We recently moved to Colorado Springs from Houston, Texas. Prior to our move we purchased a town home with an unfinished basement that we planned to build-out. Mark Watkins with Complete Construction was referred to me by another contractor that was no longer in business. Mark met me at the town home on one of my three day visits to give me an estimate for the work. He took the time to carefully inspect the conditions and advised me of some things we needed to do that I was not aware of. The estimate was promptly received, complete, included everything that we discussed, and the cost was fair and reasonable. We needed the project to be complete before we moved in and Mark was willing and able to meet our schedule. We proceeded with construction while we were still living in Houston. They started construction the first week of May and were complete by the last week in June, a week before we were scheduled to move. Throughout the construction period, Marc kept us informed of the progress, including photos, and promptly requested clarifications when needed. His cost for changes and extras (there were many) were fair and not over priced. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Mark. Using a cliche, “This ain’t my first rodeo”. I am an architect with 40+ year experience and I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend Mark Watkins and Complete Construction.

I had flooding in my kitchen and basement back in February. Mark came out and did an estimate and we agreed upon a very reasonable price. He consistently remained in contact with me with questions, concerns and updates on his progress. He even went out of his way and took care of some additional work that had to be done out of the kindness of his heart at no additional charge. we asked mark to redo our kitchen pantry. not only did he respond with a quick estimate, but he went the extra mile to give suggestions for a functional pantry. he showed up on time, respected our home by setting down drop cloths and cleaned up after each day on the job. he’s a perfectionist, but adaptable. we’ve used him for several projects, like installing trim, building custom shelves in a craft room, he built a loft bed for my daughter and my son hopes that we can build him an art studio…he won’t disappoint.

Mark replaced my insulation and drywall on the basement ceiling after a flood from the level above and textured and repainted. The ceiling looked exactly as before the flood. He and his crew were so easy and quick to work with and made a very frustrating experience into a positive one. Mark did an excellent job of putting in a new ceiling with a knockdown texture finish in our family room. Mark Watkins is a rare breed of a contractor when it comes to integrity and customer satisfaction! We had a partial kitchen remodel project where our counter and island tops needed to be replaced. Mark was referred to us from a friend and we are so glad that he was! He completed our entire basement. Master bedroom, 2 baths, laundry room and living room. We contacted Mark for an estimate to finish our basement and he responded promptly and scheduled an estimate right away. The estimate was detailed and competitive to other companies however we needed the project to be completed within a certain timeline and Mark assured us that he and his crew will be able to do that so we decided to give the project to Mark (Complete Construction.) Overall, it was a very good experience as Mark kept us in the loop and answered any questions that we had during the whole project. We made requests for some changes and he and his crew accommodated these requests, quickly. All the work and inspections were completed on time as he had promised and we are very happy with how our finished basement looks like. All of his workers are very professional and courteous and we will be happy to hire Complete Construction again for future projects.

Mark was great to work with and did a fantastic job finishing our basement. He made adjustments on the go if we needed to change something and was very professional. His price was very reasonable and our basement is beautiful. He always kept us in the loop on timing and when things were going to be done. I would highly recommend Complete Construction. They also replaced a couple of pieces of trim that were rotting on the outside of the house in a quick fashion for a reasonable price. It was a great experience.
